RESONIX 2026 is a two-day symposium built around one idea: technology as exploration. Engineers, builders, and thinkers from across colleges converge to compete, present, and push their circuits further than they've gone before. Every mission — technical or otherwise — is a step toward the same coordinates: shaping what comes next.
ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Vel Tech High Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College (An Autonomous Institution) was established in 2002 under R.S. Trust, founded by the philanthropic couple Col. Prof. Vel. Dr. R. Rangarajan, Founder President & Chairman, and Dr. Sagunthala Rangarajan, Foundress Vice-Chairman.
Governed by AICTE & Anna University, the college offers 11 branches of study with 9 UG Programmes and 2 PG Programmes.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, established in 2002 with an initial intake of 60 — later increased to 120 in 2006 — is NBA-accredited and permanently affiliated to Anna University since 2013.
With 25 experienced faculty members — including 19 Ph.D holders, 5 pursuing Ph.D, and 1 recognized Ph.D supervisor — the department mentors 494 students and several Ph.D scholars, one of whom was awarded a Ph.D on 16.09.2022.
It features 6 classrooms, 6 laboratories, an exclusive seminar hall, and a Centre of Excellence in AI & IoT, supported by 2 technical staff. The department has completed AICTE-funded MODROBS and STTP projects worth ₹10 Lakhs, received ₹90 Lakhs for establishing an IDEA Lab, and secured ₹1 Lakh in DST-SERB funding to host a National-Level Conference in November 2022.
